David Bayliff, PT, MPT has been in practice since 1994. He has attended, and continues to attend, numerous continuing education classes in order to maintain his first class skills and knowledge. He works with clients of all ages, from 4 to 94. Clients include Olympians, men’s and women’s professional (ATP and WTA, respectfully) tennis players, PGA tour players, NFL players, professional endurance athletes.
There are many benefits to choosing Bayliff Integrated Wellness for your physical therapy needs. First, services are provided in the comfort of your own home. For many, this eases the transportation burden of traveling to an appointment. BIW also allows the client to schedule an appointment that fits into that individual’s busy day. The sessions are offered on a one-on-one basis in the home. Most importantly, the focus is on YOU.
How does the one-on-one emphasis play an important role in your recovery? Each session is one hour of first class quality hands-on care. As a result, improvements can be made at a faster rate because you are receiving a more intensive treatment for a longer duration during a single session compared to what is typically provided in the average clinical setting. If pain is the primary symptom involved, then a comprehensive evaluation is performed in order to identify its cause. Pain is often the side effect of an overuse injury. More often than not, the overuse is due to a failure or a restriction elsewhere in the body. We treat the source of your pain, and not just the symptoms that you experience.
Treatments involve the highest quality of hands-on care to influence changes in inflamed tissues and in restricted joints. Because the entire body must work in sequence during movement, a total body Integrated treatment approach is used. Appropriate exercise instruction is provided to aid in the restoration of normal motion mechanics, and to address areas that may be functionally weak resulting in the pain that is exhibited. Exercise programs are also designed to involve the body’s Integrated biomechanical system. Training the various body segments to work in concert further reduces the chance of breakdown and/or overuse injuries from occurring. Other special services include Dry Needling, assisted soft tissue mobilization techniques, laser treatment, and neural glides.
